Successful case of Synergy in Miranda de Ebro
OCT 21 2020
The logistics operator Synergy is celebrating its first two years operating trains at the Miranda Container Terminal (TCM). It was in October 2018 when the new TCM terminal opened its doors, and Synergy saw a clear stake in market potential in the area.
It began with a weekly train, connecting with BEST maritime terminal in Barcelona, and gradually increased its frequency and importance in the area, gaining the confidence of large customers who were looking for a neutral, reliable and quality partner in Synergy.
At present, the frequency of this service is already 4 trains per week, and shows promising market prospects to continue increasing in the short term.
In the past two years, Synergy has operated more than 500 trains and moved more than 22,500 TEUs in this railway corridor of Miranda de Ebro. As such, it has managed to save more than 7,000 tonnes of CO2, honouring its unquestionable commitment to the environment.
In short, Miranda has been a success for Synergy, which always seeks to develop new services beyond the established markets. And without a doubt, both Synergy and TCM will continue to grow and achieve new achievements in Miranda de Ebro in the coming years.
