Synergy consolidates its service to Noain with sixth weekly train and 2000 trains operated

The logistics operator Synergy completed last Monday 10th February 2020 the 2000th train of its Barcelona - Noain rail service, which connects the Intermodal Terminal of Navarra (TIN) with its Hutchison Ports BEST Maritime Terminal, in the Port of Barcelona.

The company belonging to the Hutchison Ports group, which is characterised by being a neutral operator, has been operating this service exclusively since 2012, the year in which they also obtained the concession for the operation of the TIN Terminal located in Noain (Pamplona).

In these 2000 completed rail journeys, Synergy has managed to take 73,000 lorries off the roads and save more than 100,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. This sustainable transport offer has helped Synergy to grow steadily, and it will start operating the sixth weekly train to Noain on 2 March.

Synergy also has an exclusive rail service from BEST to the TCM Terminal, in Miranda de Ebro, which began in October 2018 and already has 4 weekly services. It also offers other national services such as trains to TMZ in Zaragoza, or to Puerto Seco Azuqueca, in Azuqueca de Henares, and international services to destinations such as Rotterdam, Antwerp or Lyon.

In this way, the operator connects all its customers to the direct worldwide maritime services offered by the BEST terminal, reducing the transit time that affects the value of goods and the logistics chain of importing and exporting companies by up to 11 days.
