The situation we are currently experiencing, stemming from the health crisis of the CoronavirusCovid-19, with ship cancellations and equipment shortages, are putting a huge time delay in the logistics and payment chain, and every day counts. This is affecting many companies when importing or exporting their products and raw materials. Despite the myriad of different goods being transported, they all agree on the same thing: minimum transit time at the best price.
In response to this situation, Synergy has been offering excellent transit-time at reasonable prices since 2012, when it began operating container trains from Terminal BEST of the Port of Barcelonato its own Intermodal Terminal in Noain (Pamplona). In addition, from there, an intermodal door-to-door service is also offered with the Basque-French port of Baiona.
Synergy, which is characterised as a neutral and open market operator, offers intermodal solutions to reduce delays: "We want customers in northern Spain to take advantage of the Mediterranean, that's why we connect them with the Port of Barcelona," says Pablo Garcia, its General Manager.
Synergy, has launched the sixth weekly circulation with Noain (Pamplona) and the fourth with Miranda de Ebro (Burgos), both of which connect to the Terminal BEST in Barcelona. Through these services, transit times to North Africa, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Asia are considerably reduced.
"By accessing via Barcelona, users save between 9 and 20 days of maritime transit time, depending on the destination, and this has a direct impact on the cost of their products and the competitiveness of the companies", says Pablo García, and he continues: "if this is accompanied by a competitive price and quality intermodal transport, the decision is clear".
